Since season 2010, the name TW Steel is on the cars of the Renault Formula 1 team. The Dutch watch brand is the Official Timing Partner of the French team. But Renault also has many contacts in the aviation bussiness, which technics are used in the Formula 1. TW Steel has produced a number of special Renault F1 Team Pilots watches. The 45 millimeter TW672 features date and 24-hour display, a chronograph and a tachymeter. A sporty watch for the modern man.
Already in 1907, Renault introduced a revolutionary eight cylinder aircraft engine with a wonderful ability. This progress was established by all manufacturers in the aerospace industry with both hands. In 1935 Renault Avion established. They produced the legendary Renault Caudron-Renault, a plane that should be a reference for sophisticated high performance technology which arose. In the late nineties Renault Sport worked together with Aerospatiale. They use their knowledge to produce engines for airplanes. Capabilities range from 180-300 hp 4 cylinder.
