We knew already the Tauchmeister watches with leather, rubber and stainless steel straps. Now Tauchmeister presented a few watches with special Milanese straps. A watch strap that dates back to 19th century but is very trendy at moment.
The Milanese straps feature very small interlinking pieces of metal. This creates a smooth steel strap. The technik was used very often in the 19th century. The Milanese straps are named after the Italian city of Milan, where the first Milanese straps were made. Nowadays more and more famous watch brands start to use Milanese straps. The straps fit both modern and retro watches.
At the moment Tauchmeister has a few watches with a Milanese strap like the Tauchmeister T0228MIL and the Tauchmeister T0201MIL. The Reboses RS002MIL contains also a Milanese strap. The straps are easy to customize yourself.

Do you have 12 million Euros on a forgotten bank account? Maybe this is the moment to check your accounts. On 14 November the most expensive watch in the world -the Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication- will be brought to the hammer at Sotheby's in Geneva. We’ve got a small hint: it seems to be a good investment.
The Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication. It sounds good. Back in 1925 banker Henry Graves from New York asked Patek Phillipe to create a extraordinary watch. Nowadays most of us are already satisfied with a TW Steel watch or a Welder watch. But this American banker only wanted the most complicated watch in the world. Well, Henry Graves question was the start of a great watch history.
The Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication became the most complicated watch ever made. Today it’s the most expensive watch in the world. After three years of research and five years of production the watch was finished in 1933. It’s made of 18-carat gold, shows the time, has a perpetual calendar, shows the sunrise and sunset in New York and provides information about the stars above ‘the Big Apple’. Moreover the watch has 21 other functions.
Meanwhile, the Patek Philippe is not the most complicated watch in the world anymore. Thanks to the computer it is possible to built more complicated watches then the 80 year old Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication. But it took 59 years to built a more complicated watch! It’s a pity… But the Henry Graves Supercomplication is still the most expensive watch in the world. 15 years ago a new owner payd 8 million Euros for this golden watch. The future new owner has to pay at least 12 million Euros. That means that the watch became in the past 15 years every year 267.000 Euros more expensive! A very interesting investment…

We had to wait some time for the new NightRider by TW Steel watches, but it was worth! A watch can look so spectacular on a picture, the new NightRider watches are looking even better in real.
The Nightrider watches are a collaboration between the American jewelery brand Nightrider and TW Steel watches. There are three different models that are available in a 45 millimeter and 50 millimeter edition. For convenience, we look just at the 50-millimeter Nightrider watches. The Nightrider NR1 has a steel case in steel color, just like the point where the black leather strap is attached to the watch. The Nightrider NR2 distinguishes itself thanks to a spectacular titanium coating, while the Nightrider NR3 has a cool black color. Striking is the silver eagle on the dial of all Nightrider watches. This eagle represents freedom, exactly where Nightrider stands for. The combination of a silver eagle and a fat TW Steel Canteen clock makes these watches real must haves.

TW Steel watches has revved up its 'Big in Oversized Watches' family with the introduction of the four-strong Yamaha Factory Racing collection. Boasting two Tech and two Pilot executions, these timepieces perfectly showcase TW Steel's famed design accents while at the same time they infuse the very brand DNA and the racing pedigree of Yamaha Factory Racing and its current YZR-M1 bike into each piece.
Having first announced its new role as an 'Official Sponsor' of Yamaha Factory Racing – one of the leading factory teams in the MotoGP championship, back in May, Saturday's watch unveiling, hosted at the San Marino MotoGP round, heralds the next step in the relationship. It is a move which will undoubtedly appeal to watch lovers and fans of both the team and its riders, reigning World Champion, Spain's Jorge Lorenzo (#99), and Italian legend and multiple MotoGP™ World Champion, Valentino Rossi (#46).
TW924 (45mm) and TW925 (48mm), the two Tech editions, kick start the Yamaha Factory Racing collection with a sporty appearance that includes a steel case with PVD yellow gold plated pillars, shaped to resemble shock absorbers, on the side of the case with a thin red line. The screws mounted on top of the bezel are PVD dark titanium plated, as is the mid piece of the crown and the pushbutton holders.
Powered by a Miyota 6S20 movement, a state-of-the art big caliber movement four times more powerful than other chronos, these models feature a race-orientated dial with the chrono eyes based on the dashboard from the team's race bikes. They sit on a sleek black carbon fiber dial with white indexes along with a striking red second hand.
The YZR-M1 logo, the name of Yamaha's MotoGP racing bike, sits below the TW Steel logo while on the case back, the Yamaha Factory Racing logo is engraved for added appeal. With a sapphire layer and a blue silicon strap with a white Yamaha Factory Racing logo double-injected for a more prominent effect, the result being a raised profile for the logo, both of these Tech models are 10ATM water resistant.
Also using the Miyota 6S20 movement, the Pilot executions feature a steel case with PVD yellow gold plated pushers and a hardened mineral crystal. The other design effects emulate the Tech editions with the same dial design, red second hand and logo incorporation on the front and back. Completed with a blue silicon strap with a white Yamaha Factory Racing logo double-injected for a more prominent effect, both of these Pilot models are 5ATM water resistant.
All models are presented in a stylish co-branded TW Steel / Yamaha Factory Racing box. "I had promised that this collection would represent the very best of both our brands and I'm proud that we've delivered on that statement," stated Jordy Cobelens, CEO and co-owner of TW Steel. "Yamaha's heritage, success and global outreach were hugely important in considering the design of these models. They represent excellence along with other shared attributes such as passion, performance and attention to detail.
The TW Steel Yamaha Factory Racing watches are available from 329 Euros. We expect to receive them at the end of October.
