In the autumn of 2026, Citizen is set to make a big splash with new Tsuyosa automatic watches, Promaster watches, radio-controlled models and exclusive limited editions. Of particular note are the Citizen Photon Limited Editions, with which the brand is celebrating 50 years of Eco-Drive. We are also looking forward to the striking Citizen AV0104-06W Promaster Land Flyback Tsuno 50th Anniversary Bullhead. This very limited-availability anniversary model is expected this autumn, although it is not yet certain whether WatchXL will be able to secure any.
Let’s get straight to the point. With some watches, you just know they’re going to be a hit. That’s down to the features and finish, of course, but certainly also to the colour and overall look. The Citizen NJ0238-57E Tsuyosa Shore Timeslip Limited Edition has exactly that combination.

The watch arrived and flew off the shelves almost immediately. Fortunately, 12,000 pieces are being produced worldwide. We therefore hope that this model will become available more often.
The Tsuyosa Shore features sapphire crystal and is water-resistant to 100 metres. This means swimming and snorkelling are no problem at all. Sapphire crystal is also exceptionally scratch-resistant, making it ideal for a watch that is worn regularly.
Furthermore, the Tsuyosa Shore is fitted with a genuine mechanical movement. Whilst worn, this is automatically wound by the movement of your wrist. A traditional battery is therefore not required.
With a case diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 12.5 mm, this watch certainly stands out on the wrist. The combination of colour, technology and limited production run makes the Tsuyosa Shore Timeslip Limited Edition an attractive choice for enthusiasts of limited-edition watches and Citizen collectors.

The Citizen Photon Limited Editions are undoubtedly among the most striking new Citizen watches of 2026. With these two exceptional men’s watches, Citizen is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Eco-Drive.
These are the Citizen BJ6560-53W and Citizen BJ6569-59X. Only 5,000 pieces of each model will be produced worldwide. These collector’s items will therefore not be widely available.

Anyone seeing the Photon for the first time will immediately understand why these models are so special. Citizen uses a layered dial that looks different depending on the light and the angle from which you view it.
And light plays a key role here. The Eco-Drive movement uses light as its energy source.
What is Citizen Eco-Drive? Eco-Drive converts natural and artificial light into energy for the movement. This means there is no need to replace a standard battery periodically.
That is the big question at the moment. You cannot order the models just yet, but you can send us an email. We’ll then add you to the list of enthusiasts interested in these special Citizen watches.

This special Citizen also deserves a place in the overview of the new collection. With its recognisable Bullhead design, the AV0104-06W harks back to Citizen’s famous Tsuno chronographs. The controls on top of the case immediately give the watch its distinctive look.

As availability has not yet been finalised, we are not linking this model to a product page for the time being. As soon as it is clear whether and how many pieces will be available, we will be able to provide further details.
The Citizen Tsuyosa collection is also set to receive a colourful addition this autumn. Of the four new Citizen Tsuyosa 60 automatic models, three have a case diameter of 37 mm. One model has a diameter of 40 mm.

The 37 mm models are particularly appealing to those looking for a slightly more compact automatic watch. They look beautifully understated on the wrist and fit more easily under a shirt cuff.
The colours also catch the eye straight away. The Citizen NK0022-50A Tsuyosa 60, for example, combines a gold-coloured case and bracelet with a light-coloured dial. There are also silver-coloured models, including one with a light green dial.
An important difference lies inside. These Tsuyosa 60 models feature an automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. If you put the watch away for a day or two, there’s a good chance it will still be running when you put it back on.
What does a 60-hour power reserve mean? The power reserve indicates how long a fully wound mechanical movement can continue to run without further movement or winding.
Sapphire crystal is also a standard feature. This glass is exceptionally scratch-resistant and helps ensure that the dial remains clearly visible even after frequent wear.
Want to see all the colours side by side? Take a look at the Citizen Tsuyosa collection at WatchXL.
There’s also exciting news for fans of mechanical watches within the Promaster Sky collection. You could almost call these new Citizen watches a fusion of Tsuyosa and Promaster Sky.
Two versions are being released: the blue Citizen NK0040-58L and the black Citizen NK0044-57E.

The 40 mm case and bracelet are crafted from Super Titanium. As a result, despite their robust appearance, these watches are remarkably light to wear.
Both models feature anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a date display and an automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. With a water resistance of 20 bar, they are also considerably sportier than the average automatic watch.
Around the dial is a rotating slide rule. This can be used to perform various calculations and conversions. It is a typical feature from the world of classic pilot’s watches and gives these new Promaster Sky models their distinctly technical character.
Fancy seeing even more sporty Citizen watches? Then take a look at the complete Citizen Promaster collection.
Alongside the new automatic models, Citizen is introducing several new Promaster Sky models. The collection therefore remains appealing to enthusiasts of technical pilot’s watches who wish to combine accuracy, travel and everyday use.
The new models include, amongst others, the AT8391-52H and AT8396-59L. Below you can see both models from the new Promaster Sky collection.

As soon as the watch receives a suitable time signal, the time is automatically synchronised. This means a Citizen watch like this runs with exceptional accuracy without you ever having to adjust it yourself.
As you’d expect from Citizen, these models feature Eco-Drive. The movement is powered by light and combines this with radio-controlled time correction.
The Promaster Sky collection offers a wide range of functions for travel and everyday use, including world time, chronograph functions and a perpetual calendar.
What is a perpetual calendar? This function automatically accounts for months of varying lengths and leap years. As a result, the date rarely needs to be adjusted manually under normal use.

The excitement isn’t over yet, as new diving watches are also being released within the Citizen Promaster Sea collection. The new models clearly demonstrate the breadth of this collection, ranging from understated colour combinations to eye-catching designs that immediately catch the eye.
Below you can see the Citizen BN0265-00A, BN0267-04L and BN0268-01E from the new Promaster Sea collection.

The new Promaster Sea models are powered by Citizen Eco-Drive. Light is used as the energy source, eliminating the need to replace a standard battery periodically.
The Promaster Sea collection has been developed for use in and around water. Key features include high water resistance, a robust construction and a unidirectional rotating bezel.
Why does a diving bezel only rotate in one direction? The diving bezel is used to keep track of elapsed time. As it can only rotate in one direction, it cannot be accidentally turned in such a way as to make it appear that there is more dive time remaining.

We are also looking forward to the expansion of the Citizen Radio-Controlled collection. Four new models are on the way: the CB1160-55A, CB1160-55E, CB1160-55L and CB1160-55W, with dials in colours including ivory, black, blue and green.

Citizen CB1160-55E
Citizen Radio-Controlled collection, Eco-Drive Super Titanium
All four feature a Super Titanium case and bracelet and are fitted with the radio-controlled H149 Eco-Drive movement.
With a case diameter of just 37.5 mm and a thickness of approximately 9.25 mm, these watches look strikingly refined. Thanks to the light weight of Super Titanium, they’re also exceptionally comfortable to wear.
Despite their compact dimensions, they pack a fair amount of technology. The H149 calibre can receive radio signals from Europe, Japan, the United States and China. In addition, the movement features world time for 26 cities, a perpetual calendar and automatic hand correction.
Thanks to Eco-Drive, the watch is powered by light. The models also feature anti-reflective sapphire crystal and are water-resistant to 10 bar.
It is particularly the combination of a modest case size, the light weight of Super Titanium and the extensive world time functions that makes these new Citizen Radio-Controlled models ideal for everyday use and travel.
The green Citizen CB1160-55W is now available in our shop. You can also view the full Citizen Radio-Controlled collection to see all the models.
