About VAT

I am from the EU, do I pay VAT?

We ship our orders from our warehouse in the Netherlands. All deliveries to countries within the EU include VAT and as a customer you do not pay any additional costs to UPS or customs. All prices are inclusive, so you don't have to worry about additional costs.

I am from outside the EU, do I pay VAT?

Shipping outside the European Union & VAT

We ship our orders from our warehouse in the Netherlands. All deliveries to countries outside the European Union are made without VAT and as a customer you may have to pay additional costs to the courier. This varies by country and purchase amount. For more information, you can contact the customs in your own country. All prices in our shop include VAT, but as soon as you enter a delivery address outside the European Union, you will see the prices without VAT. So you don't pay VAT, but it is possible that you have to pay the local VAT in the country of delivery. We have no influence on this.

Payment and warranty

Can I easily return?

Of course! If you do not like the watch you received from us, you can return it to us using the return form we provided. You can indicate on the form whether you want to exchange it or have it credited!

Your return must of course meet the return conditions, which means that it must be unworn, not shortened and that it still contains all foils and labels as you received it. We offer you a return period of 60 days.

Of course you can try on your watch!

Can I try on my watch?

Yes, you can try on your watch! But make sure that you do not remove any foils and labels and that you do not shorten it if you want to return the watch. We must still be able to sell it as new.

I want to give a watch as a gift, can it still be returned?

At WatchXL we offer you a return period of 60 days. So you have plenty of time to give the watch as a gift for that one special occasion such as Christmas, Mother's/Father's Day or a birthday.

You can return it using the returns form we provided. Trying on is always allowed, but make sure that foils and labels are not removed. If you return the watch, it must not have been shortened.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, you will receive it. When you have completed your order, you will receive a confirmation of your purchase by email. You will also find your order number in this email. When your watch is shipped, you will receive another email with a track and trace.

Have you not received confirmation?
To be sure, check the spam of the email. It sometimes happens that confirmation ends up there. Can't find the confirmation? Call or email us and we will be happy to check it for you! We are available on workdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m CET.

How many years of warranty do I have on my new watch?

Every watch we sell is sold with the standard manufacturer's warranty. In most cases this is a period of 24 months and in some cases even 36 months. A warranty period of 12 months applies to so-called demo watches.

Can I cancel or change an order?

Yes, but then we need to know as soon as possible. Have you encountered an error in your order or have you entered an incorrect address? Please contact us as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to adjust your order so that the right watch is delivered to the right place.

How can I pay at WatchXL?

We offer many payment possibilities to make it easy for you to pay your online order, among others:

Is your watch defective?

Ordered a watch from as and it is defect?

Is your watch defective within the warranty period?

We are happy to help you! Please contact us first, this is possible between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on working days. Have your order number at hand. Is it a defect caused by a manufacturing error? Then there is often a guarantee.

Is your watch defective outside the warranty period or caused by incorrect use?

Is the defect caused by incorrect use such as a fall/impact or a watch that has been in contact with water while it is not waterproof or not waterproof to that depth? Or has the warranty period already expired? Then there may be repair costs. Our customer service is happy to advise you!

Do you have a complaint?

We are proud of all our customers. That's why we treat your order with the greatest care. However, occasionally something may go wrong during the process from ordering to opening the package. We would like to hear from you if you have a complaint. In this case, we try to solve the problem as adequately as possible. We also use your feedback to further improve our service in the future.

Shipping and delivery

What is the delivery time of your order?

All watches in the WatchXL webshop are in stock in our warehouse, some watches have a longer delivery time, but this is always stated with the watch. Because we have all watches in stock, we can quickly have your watch delivered to your home or work. If you order before 3:00 PM (CET) on workdays, it will be shipped the same day with UPS. You can also choose Express.

It usually takes a few working days before the package is delivered to you, depending on the chosen shipping method and the country of receipt.

Who is our delivery partner?

We work together with UPS, among others. You will always receive an email with the Track&Trace code after your package has been shipped. You will also receive the expected delivery time. All packages are sent fully insured.

Exchanges and returns

A trial period of 60 days applies to every watch ordered from WatchXL. Within 60 days you can decide to return the watch (new and unworn) without reason if it does not meet your expectations. You can then choose to order another watch or choose to receive your money back. We request that you include a returns form when returning a watch. This form can be found in our shop.

Do you ship worldwide?

Of course! But we currently do not ship to the United Kingdom due to... Brexit. We are happy to help all our customers and offer international and well-known payment methods. We ship with UPS and the shipment is always insured.

Shipping outside the EU
For countries outside the European Union delivery will take place with UPS and takes only 1-5 days to arrive but this also depends on the processing time of the customs authorities in your country.
