With the new Citizen AT8314-53L, Citizen is introducing not just another watch, but an innovative statement in design and technology. The use of titanium and a full sapphire bezel/glass construction creates a unique combination of strength, durability and aesthetics - a new standard within the Attesa line.
Citizen unveils the AT8314-53L, a limited edition within the Attesa line, equipped with a full sapphire bezel/glass construction. This creates an almost seamless transition from the dial to the bezel, resulting in a clear and softly glowing surface.
This watch features Eco-Drive technology (charged by light, no battery replacement required), plus radio-controlled time and calendar correction in Europe, the US, China and Japan. The "Direct Flight" function makes it easy to change time zones via the crown. It also features a chronograph (1/20 second, up to 60 minutes), perpetual calendar, 10 BAR water resistance and Super Titanium™ with Duratect DLC coating: strong, light and scratch-resistant.
The watch combines a structurally coloured blue dial with the play of light created by the sapphire extending over the bezel. Light changes the hue and creates a dynamic effect reminiscent of cosmic light, turbulence and energy. The case diameter is 43.5 mm, thickness 13.0 mm.
Only 1,800 pieces of this model are available worldwide. The launch is planned for October 2025. The price will be approximately US$1,692, and it is still unclear whether this model will also be available in the United Kingdom.
