The 40.6 mm steel case remains a manageable size, making this professional diving watch suitable for everyday wear. The light-coloured dial provides a strong contrast to the dark hour markers and hands, whilst the striking seconds hand reinforces the watch’s functional character. Citizen uses anti-reflective sapphire crystal, ensuring the dial is well protected against scratches and remains clearly legible even in bright light. A date window at 3 o’clock also makes the watch practical for everyday use.
The BN0265-00A is not only interesting because of its fresh colour combination. Powering the watch beneath the dial is Citizen’s Eco-Drive E118. This movement is charged by light, eliminating the need for regular battery changes. When fully charged, the watch has a power reserve of approximately one year. This offers plenty of flexibility if you don’t wear the watch for a while. For use in and around water, this Promaster is water-resistant to 200 metres. The unidirectional rotating bezel can be used to track elapsed time and is designed to prevent it from being accidentally turned in the wrong direction. Luminous hands and hour markers ensure good readability as it gets darker. The flexible green urethane strap complements the watch’s sporty design and is easy to clean after use near water.
