The Citizen Sky AT8390-55E Promaster Sky is the understated black model within this technically advanced range. The dark dial gives the watch a calm, understated base, whilst the various sub-dials provide ample information for the chronograph, calendar and travel functions. Both the case and the strap are made from Super Titanium.
This keeps the weight down and makes a noticeable difference when you wear the watch for a full day. The case diameter of approximately 40.5 mm provides enough space for the feature-rich dial without making the watch excessively large. Sapphire crystal protects the front and complements the high-quality, functional character of this Promaster Sky.
The AT8390-55E has been designed for people who like to keep exactly to time without much manual maintenance. The watch can receive radio signals from Japan, China, Europe and the United States. Where reception is available, the time is automatically corrected.
The world time function for 26 cities also makes it easier to switch between different time zones. The perpetual calendar automatically accounts for month lengths and leap years up to 2100. In addition, the watch features a chronograph and a power reserve indicator.
Thanks to Eco-Drive, this energy is derived from light, so there’s no need to replace a standard battery.
With a water resistance of 10 bar, the watch is suitable for everyday use and swimming. The black version is perhaps the most versatile choice in the range. It pairs effortlessly with business attire, yet clearly retains the rugged character of a Promaster Sky thanks to its technical dial and titanium construction.
