If you’re looking to combine the technology of a radio-controlled Citizen with a distinctive colour, the Citizen CB1160-55W is the watch for you. The green dial lends the otherwise understated design a modern look.
The case measures just 37.5 mm and, together with the bracelet, is crafted from Super Titanium. As a result, the weight remains around 81 grams, making the watch feel considerably lighter than the technical specifications might suggest.
The sapphire crystal features an anti-reflective coating and protects the clearly laid-out dial. Behind the simple exterior lies the H149 Eco-Drive movement, which combines radio-controlled time, world time and automatic calendar correction.
In everyday use, the CB1160-55W takes a remarkable amount of work off your hands. When reception of an official time signal is possible, the time can be corrected automatically. If no signal is available, the watch continues to operate independently with a specified deviation of approximately 15 seconds per month.
The perpetual calendar recognises which months are shorter and takes leap years into account. As a result, you need to manually adjust the date far less often. Citizen’s Perfex system is also integrated. This combines resistance to magnetic fields with shock detection and automatic correction of the hand position.
Eco-Drive converts ambient light into energy and, in combination with the power-saving mode, ensures a long battery life. The 10 bar water resistance, sapphire crystal and hardened titanium finish make this model suitable for normal, intensive daily use.
The green dial adds a contemporary look without the watch losing its smart, compact character.
