This Maserati features an automatic movement. Whilst worn, a rotor inside the watch rotates, winding a mainspring. The mainspring stores the energy that drives the hands. The sapphire-coated mineral glass protects the dial. This coating is an additional layer on the mineral glass and does not make it solid sapphire glass. The watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM. This makes it suitable for swimming, provided the crown and any push-buttons are securely closed. Do not operate the buttons whilst underwater.
