Citizen sets the tone once again with a stunning release in the Attesa line: the Platinum Shine collection. These three limited edition models combine advanced technology with a unique aesthetic thanks to the use of recrystallised titanium. A special heat treatment gives this material a striking crystal structure that looks slightly different on each watch. No two pieces are identical, which makes these models even more special.
The watch case and strap are made of Super Titanium, which is five times harder than steel and exceptionally light to wear. Thanks to the Duratect Platinum finish, the titanium has a luxurious silver sheen and is excellently protected against scratches. The black Duratect DLC-coated bezel provides a powerful contrast and an extra modern look.
The CC4076-65A is particularly noteworthy from a technical point of view. This model features the Eco-Drive F950 calibre with satellite GPS. This watch receives a time signal within three seconds – the fastest of its kind. The other two models are radio-controlled Eco-Drive watches with world time in 26 time zones, ideal for those who travel frequently.
These limited editions are only available in small numbers worldwide: 2,500, 2,200 and even just 1,400 pieces. At the time of writing, the Citizen CC4076-65A Attesa Satellite F950 Platinum Limited is already in stock at WatchXL (while stocks last!). These unique Attesa models from Citizen are not only technologically advanced, but also interesting for collectors looking for something unique and valuable.
According to Citizen, this does not seem likely for the time being. Only the CC4076-65A is available for purchase here. The other models are not expected to be marketed in the Benelux or Germany.
