The Dutch watch brand TW Steel has been closely involved in motor racing for many years. That’s hardly surprising, of course. Speed, precision and a rugged look are a perfect match for the character of this watch brand. Among our men’s watch brands, TW Steel has always been the one that stands out the most.
The collaboration with Red Bull Ampol Racing has therefore resulted in a number of particularly cool watches. These models are inspired by the world of racing and often feature the distinctive blue, red and yellow colour accents that you also see on the racing cars.
And the great thing is that TW Steel combines this look with the robust design for which the brand is renowned.
As far as we’re concerned, the details of these watches are particularly well executed. Think of the substantial cases, sporty dials and the striking crown design of the well-known TW Steel Canteen models.
The Red Bull Ampol collection includes, amongst other things, chronographs that allow you to measure time intervals – a feature that, of course, fits perfectly with the world of motorsport.
The models from the Canteen collection have a case diameter of 45 millimetres. So they’re nice and chunky, but that’s exactly what you’d expect from TW Steel watches.
The great thing about this collection is that there are various versions available. You can opt for a watch with a sporty silicone strap, but there are also models with a steel or leather strap. While stocks last, of course, as this is a limited edition collection.
Some versions have a more understated design, whilst other models really stand out thanks to their colours and chronograph dials.
