The Citizen CB1160-55L gives the compact Radio-Controlled range a sportier look with its blue dial. The case measures 37.5 mm and is made from Super Titanium, as is the matching metal bracelet. This keeps the total weight at around 81 grams. That low weight is comfortable when wearing the watch every day for long periods.
The blue dial is combined with bright hands and hour markers and, thanks to the clear three-hand layout, retains a calm appearance. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal offers good scratch resistance, whilst the date display provides the practical information you need most often on a daily basis.
The strength of this CB1160-55L lies in the fact that much of its technology is barely visible. Within range of a suitable transmitter, the watch can automatically check whether the displayed time is still accurate. When no radio signal is available, Citizen specifies an accuracy of approximately 15 seconds per month for the H149 movement.
With Direct Flight, you can choose from 26 time zones, allowing you to quickly set a new local time. The perpetual calendar automatically accounts for variations in month lengths and leap years. Perfex technology is also included. This system combines protection against magnetic interference with shock detection and automatic correction of the hand position.
Eco-Drive eliminates the need for regular battery changes by using light as an energy source. The blue version adds a touch of colour to the otherwise understated design. The result is a light, compact and well-finished watch that is suitable for everyday use, business meetings and international travel.
