The Citizen NK0030-51X Tsuyosa 60 is a compact automatic Citizen with a striking blue dial and the sleek, integrated design for which the Tsuyosa series is renowned. The case has a diameter of just 37 mm, making the watch suitable for both smaller wrists and those who prefer a more classic size.
The five-link steel bracelet attaches directly to the case, creating a modern, virtually seamless design. Beneath the flat sapphire crystal, you’ll find applied hour markers, luminescent details and a magnified date display.
Depending on the light, the blue dial takes on different shades, making this version noticeably more vibrant than a classic black model.
Inside is the same 8310 movement that gives the Tsuyosa 60 its name. When fully wound, the watch has a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. This is practical if you alternate this watch with another model, as it won’t stop running immediately after just one day.
The automatic mechanism uses the movement of your arm to wind the mainspring whilst you’re wearing it. In addition, the seconds hand can be stopped whilst setting the time, allowing for more precise time-setting. The screw-down transparent case back reveals part of the movement and enhances its mechanical character.
With a water resistance of 5 bar, the NK0030-51X is designed for normal everyday use and limited contact with water. Its greatest appeal, however, lies in its proportions. The combination of a 37 mm case, an integrated steel bracelet and a blue dial gives this Citizen a sporty look without visually overwhelming the wrist.
