The Citizen NK0032-56A Tsuyosa 60 combines compact dimensions with a striking gold-coloured finish. The 37 mm steel case and integrated steel bracelet feature a gold-coloured coating, whilst the light-coloured dial provides an elegant contrast. This gives the sporty Tsuyosa design a distinctly more formal look.
The integrated bracelet flows seamlessly into the case, ensuring the watch sits as a single unit around the wrist. Citizen uses sapphire crystal over the dial. Applied hour markers, luminescent details and a magnified date display make the watch practical without disrupting its relatively understated design.
The mechanical calibre 8310 is a key distinguishing feature compared to many watches chosen primarily for their appearance. When fully wound, the movement can run for approximately 60 hours. This means you do not need to reset the Citizen straight away if it has not been worn for much of the weekend.
Whilst being worn, the rotor ensures that the movement of the wrist is used to wind the mainspring. The movement also features a stop function for the seconds hand. You can view the mechanical movement through the transparent screw-down case back.
It is water-resistant to 5 bar and is designed for normal everyday use and limited contact with water. The NK0032-56A stands out particularly for its combination of a light-coloured dial, gold-coloured case and relatively modest size.
This means it can be worn with both casual and smarter outfits, without the watch looking overly large or heavy.
