The automatic movement draws energy from the movements of your wrist. A rotating weight, known as the rotor, winds a mainspring. This mainspring powers the movement, meaning a standard watch battery is not required. If you leave the watch unused for a prolonged period, it may stop once the stored energy is depleted.
The silver-coloured steel strap completes the design. A folding clasp opens by folding out, so you can easily put the watch on and take it off. Have the strap adjusted to your wrist size for a comfortable fit whilst wearing it.
The sapphire-coated mineral glass protects the dial. This coating is an extra layer on the mineral glass and does not make it solid sapphire glass. The watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM. This means it is suitable for swimming, provided the crown and any push-buttons are securely closed. Do not operate the buttons whilst underwater.
