This Maserati features an automatic movement. Whilst you’re wearing it, a rotor inside moves with your movements, winding a mainspring. The mainspring stores the energy that drives the hands. So you’re wearing a mechanical watch without a conventional battery; it may need to be restarted after a prolonged period of inactivity.
