A chronograph is a watch with a built-in stopwatch. You use the pushers to start and stop a measurement, for example to time an activity. Meanwhile, the regular time continues to run. The separate 24-hour hand follows the daily cycle of the main hands and indicates whether it is before or after twelve o’clock in the afternoon.
The VD53 quartz movement is battery-powered. Even if you regularly wear a different watch, you won’t need to wind this Canteen time and time again. TW Steel states a battery life of approximately three years, depending on usage. The date window between four and five o’clock makes the day of the month immediately visible.
The rose gold colour is created by a coating on the stainless steel case. Reinforced mineral glass protects the dial, and the silicone/rubber strap is resistant to moisture. With 10 ATM water resistance, the TWCS133 is suitable for swimming. Keep the crown closed and do not use the push-buttons whilst underwater.
