The TW Steel CS131 Canteen is designed for fans of large watches that can do with a splash of colour. Three azure-blue sub-dials stand out against the matt black dial. The blue strap complements this perfectly. With its 45 mm steel case, ribbed bezel and distinctive crown guard, this is a true Canteen: substantial, sporty and with a look all of its own.
The sub-dials are part of the stopwatch and 24-hour display. You can use the stopwatch, for example, to measure how long an exercise takes. The 24-hour hand tracks standard time and helps you distinguish between morning and evening. So the striking blue details also serve a practical purpose. The date is displayed in the window between four and five o’clock.
The VD53 movement is battery-powered and therefore continues to run even if you don’t wear the CS131 for a while. You don’t need to wind it every day. The stated battery life is approximately three years, although this is affected by the use of the stopwatch. A great choice if you’re looking for a sports watch that requires little daily attention.
The blue silicone/rubber strap flexes easily and is resistant to moisture. Reinforced mineral glass protects the dial. Thanks to its 10 ATM water resistance, you can swim with the TWCS131, provided the crown remains closed and you do not use the push-buttons whilst underwater.
